Shortest-Game Prize

ARRIVED last night in the south Bavarian spa town of Bad Wörishofen with Paul Stokes (1857),  Vic Rumsey (1768) and Ray Kearsley (1624)
Over a few beers, and a courtesy schnapps, in the town's little bar (that is what we call it - cannot remember the real name), we set up a 40-euro kitty.
The money is to go to the player who has the shortest (in moves, not time) win during the nine-round congress.
Paul and Vic are playing in the seniors, while Ray and I are playing in the U2000. There is also an open.
Entries over the whole congress, which starts today, reached 316 last week, if I recall correctly, but are down to 285, and I expect there will be quite a few no-shows.
Grandmaster Lev Gutman told us last night there will be a no-handshakes policy at the congress. All very proportionate,  no doubt ...
