Thanks For Letting Us Know

BACK in December the London League postponed its January fixtures to June and announced a follow-up meeting on January 20 to decide if February's matches could go ahead.
The result of that meeting was published at the league's website this evening:

The London Chess League is resuming matches from February onwards

Please note that the League is continuing to adopt a policy that requires face coverings to be worn indoors at central venues unless a player has an exemption (same as pre-Christmas).

Our goal is to get as many people playing chess, safely, as possible. As such, we are asking players who are medically exempt, players who are uncomfortable playing against an opponent with no face covering, and players who have fluctuating conditions (e.g. asthma) which may sometimes require an exemption, to please make their captains aware in advance of matches, so that opposing captains can pair players together to ensure everyone gets a game, and minimise the possibility of a player travelling for no game to be played.
