Just What I Needed

MET up with four friends at Chess & Bridge in Baker Street, West London, yesterday afternoon, before going on for a couple of drinks in a Wetherspoon at Baker Street tube station, followed by a Thai evening meal.

For £3 at Chess & Bridge I bought a secondhand copy (original price: £2.30) of Meet The Masters by Max Euwe.

Bargain hunted

It makes a useful addition to my collection of chess-books-I-have-yet-to-study.
