Unfortunately, the timing was such that I was very unlikely to catch the train I needed to reach my hotel at Lake Maggiore before reception closed for the evening.
So I booked a car with a company called Transfeero, and their driver was waiting for me at arrivals, which made for a smooth transfer to my hotel in under an hour.

The good thing is,your in Italy,so the espresso must be very nice.I hope!
ReplyDeleteI don't know yet. Since Wednesday's debacle, which came after downing four double-espressos, I have decided to limit myself to two a day, so my first Italian won't be till after breakfast tomorrow (but I have already scouted a caffè that looks promising).
