Bad Bertrich is a nice cozy village,I was there twice
ReplyDeleteat wintertime.
The last couple of years are some shops and a pub closed down.
And there is only one '''supermarket'' situated in an postoffice
and sell only main stuff.
Keep an eye on the closing time.
A proper supermarket in the area needs a 15 min.drive, but
maybe a bus wil go to there.
The venue is spacy enough.
With a time control of 60' + 30", I hope you've got something else to do in Munich other than playing chess.
ReplyDeleteThe Munich time limit will be interesting, but the venue is in an area called Moosach, which apparently has been inhabited since the Stone Age, so should have plenty of history (and pre-history) to explore.
ReplyDeleteBoth Moosach and Bad Bertrich are new to me, which almost always makes for an enjoyable experience.
