BEAU CHESS - the post-work workings-out of a chess amateur

I begin this blog after getting back into league chess following many years' absence due to work. My post-job status also means I am able to play more tournament chess. My new club in London is Battersea and my first game for them is on Thursday September 14, 2017. I start with a Fide rating of 1858, an ECF grade of 169 (=1968 elo) and an ICCF correspondence rating of 2267. My current Fide is 1902, my ECF is 1913 and my ICCF is 2277.

Benidorm Dates

IT looks like the Benidorm chess festival in Alicante will run from Monday November 30 until Thursday December 10.
At least those are the dates being given at the website of the Sunway Sitges chess festival, which usually publishes them each year before the Benidorm website is updated.
If correct it would mean the main U2301 and U2000 tournaments would start on Nov 30 and run one-round-a-day for 10 rounds until Wed Dec 9, with prize-giving on Dec 10.
I will update if I can get confirmation over the coming days.
