Bad News, Good News

BAD news for anyone thinking of playing at Hradec Kralove, a CzechTour fixture, later this month.
It has been called off due to the Czech government's three-week state of emergency that bans, among other things, indoor cultural events.
However, there is good news in that the event has been rescheduled for early December, which is when I usually play at Benidorm.
Here is the announcement this afternoon at the CzechTour site:

Dear chess friends,
We regretly inform you that due to anti-covid measures in the Czech Republic, the HRADEC KRALOVE OPEN festival was postponed from 31st October - 7th November to 5th - 12th December 2020. Regulations remain unchanged except dates.

Czechia in December will not bear much resemblance to Alicante, but Benidorm shows no signs of going ahead, and anyway who needs sunshine and temperatures of 20C+ when you are indoors playing chess?
