TOOK my non-functioning laptop back to Currys today, and it has been sent off for repairs.
It looks like the computer may require a new hard disk, but the assistant said it might just need the operating system reinstalled.
Either way, I am told not to expect it back until April 13, ie the Wednesday before Easter.
Meanwhile I am using my old, water-damaged-but-repaired, laptop, which will give me a chance to get back something close to normalcy, chess-wise.
