This is good enough in the long run, but the game would have ended immediately with 1.Be6#.
Play continued ...
1...Nxh1? 2.Rxh1? Bxf8 3.Nxf8 Rxf8
... and White went on to win.
However, this is not as wacky as yesterday's effort on the same board: CI.
