Wheel Attraction

TORQUAY has had a big wheel on the seafront during the tourism season since 2012.

This summer it almost did not appear, after Torbay Council's planning officers advised against giving permission.

They cited that this year's proposed location was near a war memorial and listed fountain.

However, Torbay's planning committee voted unanimously to approve the application.
