Horror Show

AUSTRALIA-based Derek Roebuck publishes Patzer magazine, sometimes using posts from my blog as articles.
Today I am returning the compliment by highlighting a striking example from his magazine of the peculiarities of chess.
Black to play - can the game be saved?

No - White is lost. Yes, White!
The winning move is 1...Qd2+, after which 2.b4?! Qd8+ is mate next move.
So White must try 2.Qb4, but 2...Qd5+ 3.Qb5 Qd6! is the clever point, putting White in zugzwang.
The white king cannot move, pushing the b pawn loses as before, while any move by the white queen either loses the queen or allows an immediate mate.
Roebuck publishes his magazine from Subiaco, a suburb of Perth, and can be contacted via derek_roebuck@hotmail.com
