I am playing in the 31st Bad Bertrich Chess Days, which is for players born before 1976, and consists of nine rounds over nine days, starting on Friday at 15:00, but then at 10:00 until the last round at 09:30.
The time control is 40 moves in 90 minutes, a further 30 minutes to finish, and a 30-second increment throughout.
There are 76 entries from seven countries, including two grandmasters, an international master and seven Fide masters, headed by Keith Arkell (2356).
Good luck there, and enjoy your stay!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It promises to be an interesting one, and a good warm-up for the British championships in Liverpool next month!
