Chess!

NIGEL Povah asked me to write up one of my games from the European seniors team championships at Dresden for Chess magazine.

His articles on the championships, one written in collaboration with Keith Arkell, appear in the December and January editions of the magazine.

I chose to annotate my round-one game, partly because I was outrated by almost 200 elo, and it appears in January's Chess.

As a courtesy I have been sent copies of both magazines, and am slowly going through them.

Two for the price of none

My first impressions are they contain more writing and more annotated games than was the case when I was a subscriber, but that may be faulty recollection.
