Czech Seniors

AM  making final preparations for flying to Prague tomorrow to play in a congress at Mariánské Lázně, a former Habsburg spa town known in German as Marienbad.

There are GM and IM norm tournaments, an open and a seniors 50+.

I am playing in the seniors, which at time of writing has 93 entries - one more than the open.

There are 19 players in both the grandmaster and international master sections.

I first played at Mariánské Lázně in 2019, scoring +4=2-3 for a rating performance of 1827, which was 116 points below my elo of 1943.

In 2020 I scored +2=2-5 for a rating performance of 1684, which was 110 points below my elo of 1794.

Last year I scored +5=3-1 for a rating performance of 1986, which was 75 points above my elo of 1911.
