Better than the text is 19...exd5 20.Nxd5, but best is 19...cxd5!, which wins a pawn as 20.Nxd5? loses to 20...Qxc1 etc. After the text White can get an advantage with 20.d6! Instead there followed ...
20.Qxc3 exd5 21.Rxd5 Rfd8 22.Rc5 Rd6
... and the game was agreed drawn at move 30.
