White has several winning moves. Perhaps best is the engines' 26.Qc7, but 26.Qb8+ and 26.Kh2 are also strong.

After the tournament, Ray Kearsley observed that I looked very tired, and I can only assume tiredness had something to do with me missing the winning 27...Nxf6. What makes my play even more ridiculous is that, while EC thought about the diagrammed position, I had seen that the move he eventually played was refuted by 27...Nxf6.
