The number of entries that can be accommodated at the venue hotel, Woodland Grange, has been reached.

Among the 72 contestants in the open are two grandmasters, two international masters and five Fide masters.
Ratings across the three sections range from a high of 2544 (Mark Hebden's English Chess Federation rating) down to two people with ECFs of 708.
The 180 entries include five people who must join, or renew their membership of, the ECF, so perhaps there is a glimmer of hope if you have not entered but were planning to.
