Sparring Over The Board

AM traveling to Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, today to play in the five-round 26th 4NCL weekend congress, which is being held at Woodland Grange conference centre.

Entries are limited to 180, a figure which was reached last month, although the latest list at https://www.4ncl.co.uk/fide/entrants_26.htm is down to 171.

There are three sections - open, U2000 and U1700 - with the time limit in each being 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment.

Round one is this evening, followed by two rounds on Saturday and on Sunday.
