Bad Wörishofen Round One

DUE to a late withdrawal, I found myself top-seed in the U2000.

Spanton (1912) - Robert Klein (*)
Jobava-Prié
1.Nc3 d5 2.d4 Bf5
A liberated bishop.
3.Bf4 Nf6 4.e3 e6 5.Bd3 Bxd3 6.cxd3
Speedy development with 6.Qxd3 is almost three-times as popular in ChessBase's 2022 Mega database.
6...Bd6 7.Qb3!?
This is arguably the critical test of the position. There is only one example of this move in Mega22, but it is liked by Stockfish14.1 and Komodo12.1.1.
7...Bxf4!?
7...b6 was played by an unrated in a 2015 game; he beat his 2027 opponent.
8.Qxb7 Nbd7 9.exf4 0-0
9...Rb8 10.Qxa2 Rxb2 11.Qa3 is very good for White.
10.Nge2 c5!?
This is the engines' top choice, but after the coming exchange of pawns White is left with a 2-1 queenside pawn-majority. On the other hand White's doubled d pawns cover a lot of central squares and are difficult for Black to get at with pieces.
11.0-0 Qa5 12.Qb3 cxd4 13.Nxd4 Nc5!?
The engines prefer 13...Rab8 14.Qc2 Rfc8, claiming Black more-or-less has full compensation for the pawn.
14.Qc2 Qa6 15.Rfd1 Rac8 16.g3
Consolidation, and making sure back-rank mating threats do not arise, but, as Vic Rumsey pointed out when we went over our games, the immediate 16.b4 may be stronger.
16...Rfe8 17.b4 Ncd7 18.b5 Qb6 19.Nc6
How should Black proceed?

19....d4?
This tempting advance is a mistake. Best, according to the engines, is 19...Nb8, but White is well on top after 20.Nxb8 Rxb8 21.a4.
20.Ne4 Nxe4
Not 20...Qxb5? 21.Ne7+! etc. Best might be 20...Rc7, but then 21.Nd6 is strong.
21.Ne7+ Kf8 22.Nxc8 Qb7 23.dxe4 Rxc8 24.Qd3 Nc5 25.Qxd4 Nxe4 26.Qb4+ Ke8
26...Kg8 is not much of an improvement.
27.Rac1 Rb8 28.a4 a6 29.b6 1-0
*No Fide rating but has a German rating of 1615.
