Greek Extension

AM staying on in Kos for the Amateur Chess Organization's 'world amateur championship', which starts today.
The format is the same as for the seniors tournament that has just finished, except for no age restrictions.
So I will again be in Group C, which is for players rated 1801-2000, although there are 38 entrants in that section as opposed to 24 (later reduced to 22) in the Super Senior (65+) 'world championship'.
As before there are two double-round days, and a free day before the last three rounds are held at one-round-a-day.
The time limit is 40 moves in 90 minutes, with an extra15 minutes to finish, and a 30-second increment from the start.
