Getting There (Bregenz)

I CAUGHT a 13:45 flight from Heathrow to Zurich, followed by a train from the Swiss airport straight to Bregenz.

The booking was with Lufthansa, but they sub-contracted it to Swiss as I paid for both parts of the journey together in a Swiss Air Rail deal.

I suspect the total price was more than if I had booked the flight and then paid for a train at Zurich-airport station, but it was convenient.

I reached my hotel before 19:30, so, allowing for the time change, the journey from Heathrow took under five hours.
