Germany Calling

AM making final preparations for flying tomorrow to Munich, from where I will be traveling on to Rottach-Egern, which is on a famous , at least in German terms, Bavarian lake called Tegernsee.

It has a long and eventful history, but I am going to play in the Tegernsee Seniors Cup, which starts on Saturday and runs for nine days.

It is for players born before 1975, and several weeks ago reached its maximum capacity of 180.

Most rounds start at 10:00, and the time control is 130 minutes with a 30-second increment.
