AFTER this morning's round five in the Amateur Chess Organization's world senior championship, I walked to the top of the Fodele Beach Resort to get a little exercise before the afternoon's round six.
As well as the water park and mini-golf, which I mentioned as being at the top of the resort in an earlier post, there are tennis courts and an archery range.

I had a coffee in the poolside snack bar, where I spotted a housemartin had built its nest on a decoration hanging from the ceiling.

By the way, anyone who wants to go to the water park but does not fancy the walk (it is pretty steep near the top), there is a road train that makes the round trip on a frequent basis.
